Philo Grove Books is an independent publishing imprint founded to support thoughtful, well-crafted works of spiritual depth.

The imprint pays homage to Philo of Alexandria (c. 20 BC – 50 AD), a Hellenistic philosopher best known for attempting to harmonize Jewish theology with Greek philosophy, particularly Platonism and Stoicism. Philo emphasized the transcendence of God and introduced the concept of the Logos, or Word that greatly influenced early Christian theology, notably in the Gospel of John.

“Philo Grove” evokes a quiet place — for stories often grow out of stillness. Our goal is to publish books that encourage reflection, nurture connection, and inspire.
